It's a personal opinion and something which would make me use this module on a live site but if it could take into account CSS styles it would be fantastic.

Quite a few of my nodes use custom CSS in them to achieve the looks I want

e.g.

*content*

which in the PDF, just looks like *content* which defeats the purpose and completely ruins the look and flow of quite a few pages when they are generated as PDFs

That would be a great feature ... but it should be implemented in TCPDF
