I also tried adding show-grid to the Body class in page.tpl.php, but just get show-grid="" in the actual page source. Am I missing something? (I did get the Active grid option in gizra-960 that I had tried earlier.)

Add & Edited: The Active Grid setting shows up fine for Zen 1.1 and Zen Ninesixty 6.x-4.3. Also with Zen 2 and and Zen Ninesixty 6.x-4.3. The issue seems to be with Zen Ninesixty 6.x-5.x-dev.

Add: When using Zen Ninesixty 6.x-5.x-dev, the grid does not appear even though debug.css is being included from the Ninesixty framework. If I use Ninesixty as the default the grid appears.
