Hi

Nice module, but wouldn't make more sense to add the title in the Display Fields screen? this way, all the display options would be in the same place and you could have the ability of hide the node title in the full node but display it in the teaser.

Hey,
I believe you are refering to CCK's admin/content/node-type//display page.
I believe we can pull title field to have options there and to be able to select different display options (like HTML title, plain text, etc) and to be able to exclude it from there; but the module was designed to exclude the title on a per $nid basis. Although I believe the option to exclude per content-type, is a good ideea, but not yet implemented.

Any patches / ideas are welcomed.

Gabriel

I don't have any suggestions but just wanted to say thank you for creating what would seem like a very common and popular module. I had come up with a very complicated workaround to do the same thing but this works perfectly for what I need. Thanks again!

You're welcome. I'm really glad it helps, it also saved me a lot of time in my projects.

Since you mentioned it, I have in mind the option to hide titles on a content-type basis, but not yet decided what would be the way to accomplish this.

Actually there is a new release, see 6.x-1.0 http://drupal.org/node/999482 that adds in configuration the option to exclude by content type.

Check it out.

I think that native meaning of this issue could be implemented in Drupal 7.
