I took some time to run it through coder for an update to 7.x. So far everything works except for an error when adding content - for some reason it's not picking up the filters set when editing the content type.

I'll probably clean up the code a bit, too, while I'm at it.

I have posted a patch to Better Formats in Drupal 7 that duplicates this module's functionality in a cleaner way. Assuming it gets accepted I will likely deprecate this module: #1295248: Allow per-field-instance configuration of allowed formats.

Please go review it so that I can dump this module sooner rather than later. :-)

As this module's functionality is now incorporated into Better Formats, I don't expect there to be a Drupal 7 version.
