Page title breaks views feed displays, 403 pages

Possibly the same issue as: #895006: error in views.page_title.inc. However, I don't know if that patch was committed to the 7.x branch.

Adding note about 403 pages - that's where I'm experiencing the issue with my D7 site.

I really need to focus on the views integration - the current system I went for really doesn't work very well. It's trying to inject itself into a system which doesn't like having stuff inject itself.

Bump, I got this error with Page Title 7.x-2.4-beta1 and Views 7.x-3.0-beta2.

Update: Dev version of page title fixes this issue. Can a new release be rolled out?

No single Views Site is displayed anymore

Is there a possibility to replace the views.page_title.inc with the one from the dev Version (as elachlan mentioned, that the dev Version fixes the issue) ?

Fyi ... Just migrated to the dev version and got the similar error when I pulled content from a views table:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in views_page_title_pattern_alter() (line 48 of public_html/yadayadayada/sites/all/modules/page_title/modules/views.page_title.inc).

We "disabled" the error by replacing the line, that produced the error by STATIC TEXT. The Result is: The STATIC TEXT is shown as page titles for every Views Page.

This is a temporary workaround for us, as we have only a few view pages that contain only links to other content pages and WE don´t need individual page titles for them.

Note: We know little to nothing about php, but this solution works for us

File: /sites/all/modules/page_title/modules/views.page_title.inc

Replace:
$pattern = $view->display->handler->get_option('page_title_pattern');

with:
$pattern="whatever page title should be shown for all views pages";

Actually, we can't use the module.
