fantastic! i just gave this a once-over bringing it up to docs style guide standards, adding a few links, screenshots etc. mostly just formatting and a few tweaks. i've marked the page "no known problems".

This could do with copy-editing.

Eg, point 4:

# Rename the folder which contains the uncompressed files.
Locate the file and extract its contents. The result should be a new directory which has the same name as the archive file that you downloaded. Eg. rename folder ‘drupal-7.0-rc1’ to ‘myD7site'

The renaming step is done after the extracting -- yet the 2nd sentence tells you to extract it again.

Regarding "Click the "download" link" on this documentation page. There is no "download" link (a link that says download) on the project pages anymore. They have all been replaced by tar.gz | zip.
I suggest this change:

- Click the "download" link beside the version of Drupal you want to download.
+ Click either the tar.gz or zip link (depending on your preference) beside the version of Drupal you want to download.
