if an mp3 file is uploaded as an attachment to the node, the file shows as

When a file is uploaded through the mp3player module, the link is shown as:

Is there a way to fix this so that iTunes will recognize the mp3 file and then download it?
I thought that this module had iTunes support built in, but it doesn't seem to work.

Nope it doesn't. For that you'll need something like http://drupal.org/project/ffpc
