MERCI (Manage Equipment Reservations, Checkout and Inventory)

MERCI can extend any content type into a list of unique reservable items (like studios) or buckets of interchangeable items (like DV cameras). We followed the approach used by Organic Groups, Feed API, and Scheduler and added MERCI's configuration to the Edit tab of those content types.

BEFORE POSTING AN ISSUE

• Did you run update.php after updating the module
• Did you clear your cache?
• Is it a permission problem? (i.e. were you able to reproduce the problem as admin?)
• Are the calendar and date modules up to date?
• If you are running MERCI in Open Atrium, have you tested the same feature on a standard Drupal install.

If you've done all that and still have a problem. Then do please post an issue. When you post an issue please give us lot's of info. Like:

• The url where you are experiencing the problem.
• Screenshots if applicable and possible.
• Exact steps to reproduce.
• Which version of Merci. If the dev or cvs what date?
• Is it an issue with buckets? Resources? Both? Try to reproduce the bug with both types.
• What merci modules are installed?

The following merci modules in the 7.x development branch are currently working:

Bulk operations for merci_inventory are not implemented.

The merci_template module has been removed.

The wickedly complicated queries in the initial version of MERCI were developed by Chad Phillips (hunmonk) for the Knight funded Open Media Project. The module is currently maintained by contributions from a number of developers.
