If you are about to install OpenChurch for the first time and are new to Drupal please see common installation problems first before you file a ticket. NOTE: Most failed installs are due to lack of PHP memory.
NOTE: The OpenChurch Mix and Match theme will be deprecated and completely removed on July, 1, 2013. If you are using this theme you will want to copy it to your sites/all/themes folder.

Installation and setup instructions
1. Install as you would install Drupal. Select the Open Deals profile when asked.
Keep in mind though, that you will need to set php memory limit to at least 128MB and php max execution time to at least 120 seconds.
You can set the previous php settings by adding these two lines at the end of the .htaccess file:
php_value memory_limit 128M
php_value max_execution_time 120
OR by asking your host to change these values for you.
2. Do any modification you see fit to make your site work as expected. Most probably, you will want to:
a) Change the logo and / or the colors of your site. We propose that you do a subtheme and not alter the main theme.
b) Add and setup your payment methods and checkout process.
c) Change the texts of the site to make it unique (FAQ, How it Works, About etc.).
d) Update the links to Facebook, Twitter etc. to yours.

Spark
At DrupalCon Denver, Dries Buytaert (project lead) announced the need for a strong focus on Drupal's authoring experience in his State of Drupal presentation. During the core conversation later in the week, the creation of a Drupal 7 distribution named "Spark" (formerly code-named "Phoenix") was announced. The goal of Spark was to act as an incubator for Drupal 8 authoring experience improvements that can be tested in the field.
Spark is a Drupal distribution which aims to work out solutions to authoring experience problems in the field and apply to latest development versions of Drupal. Therefore our work started implementing improvements as modules on Drupal 7 and then our focus shifted to working on incorporating and enhancing them in Drupal 8 for core inclusion.
Spark in Drupal 8 core
Our primary aim is to affect Drupal authoring experience significantly. The following improvements are included in Drupal 8 thanks (in part) to Spark:
- A responsive toolbar that works well on mobile devices
- Well configured CKEditor WYSIWYG tool with full text format integration
- An in-place editor that allows you to edit nodes, blocks, etc. in-place on the page
- A much improved two column backend content editing screen
- (proposed) A mobile device preview tool
- Significantly improved accessibility
- Page layouts independent of modules and themes (not fully utilized in core yet)
The Spark distribution for Drupal 8 has increasingly less difference from Drupal 8 itself as we get improvements into core and drop efforts that do not resonate with our technical direction and reviewer feedback.

Distribution for Drupal 7
The Drupal 7 Spark distribution is a collection of contributed modules that greatly enhance the authoring experience on top of what Drupal 7 provides. Most key components from the Drupal 8 features are included and some more that did not make it into Drupal 8. The following features are included:

Upgrade path
While the beta releases have been through a number of rounds of testing, there is still likely to be changes between releases that do not have an automated upgrade path. We recommend reading the changelog of each release before upgrading to see whether manual upgrade steps need to be taken.

Cartaro
Cartaro is the web mapping platform that brings the power of the best open source geospatial components into Drupal. With Cartaro you are able to set-up and run your own geo-enabled and OGC standards-compliant website with not more than a few clicks.
