This module will no longer be supported and this workspace will be removed soon.
Out of the box Drush offers support for Drupal 7.x site install.
This module provides support for Drupal 6.x site install as well (without any http calls to a running server).
Install
Assuming that you have drush already installed.
drush dl drush_site_install6Usage
cd /path/to/drupal/
drush site-install6 For more info please consult
