This module displays a horizontal menu in a block under which a submenu appears when an user hovers on an item. If the menu on the current page has a submenu, it's displayed by default, so this module degrades gracefully if Javascript is not present.

Current stable branch for 6.x is 1.x. New releases will only include bug fixes.
6.x-2.x is unstable (although usable) and will include new features only if patches are committed by the community.
7.x-2.x is unstable (although usable) and will include new features.
Where is the 7.x-2.x-dev snapshot?
Try as I might, I can't figure out how to make the dev snapshot available (see http://drupal.org/node/1356402 Put the 7.x dev branch on the front page release list). The result is that, for the time being, the 7.x-2.x-dev snapshot is available only through version control.
