Google Website Optimizer is a free multivariate testing service that allows you to rotate different segments of content on your key sales pages to work out which sections and combinations convert the best. This module provides an easy way to insert the appropriate javascript code on your testing and conversion pages.

Drupal 7 note

Version 1.3 for Drupal 7 adds "Other Settings" section when editing a test which adds 3 new features:

1. IP Filtering. Add the IP's that you want to exclude from the test. These IP's will be able to see test variations but their views will not count to the test visits and conversions. IP filtering works only for logged-in users due to caching.

2. Google Analytics integration through custom var. You may select a custom var slot so that you see each variation in Google Analytics as a custom var. Requires Google Analytics to be installed, obviously.

3. Option "Test Page Title". If checked, adds the test section tags to the tested page title, so you don't have to edit the tpl file when you want to test the page title.

4. Option to "Unpublish" a test. This is useful when you want to pause or stop a test without deleting it.

5. Option to select certain language of nodes to run the test on.
