Mailhandler Send To Auth

  • Last changed: 1 year 16 weeks ago

Mailhandler send to authentication provides a CTools plugin for the Mailhandler module allowing a site administrator to use the 'to address' of emails as the authentication method when processing email messages in a feeds queue.

At this time, this module works best in conjunction with Mailhandler Single Mailbox, though other use cases are possible.

Contact Plus

  • Last changed: 4 weeks 1 day ago

Contact Plus augments the core Contact module with several features.

  • Allows redirection of the user to a custom path, per category, for the site-wide contact form/module.
  • Allows for disabling/hiding of form elements on the contact form - if you have an all-anon user base or all-auth or a mix, there is a combination available to trim down the amount of fields required to get from empty form to submission ASAP, or simply hide fields that aren't required in certain circumstances.

Instructions:

Contact Plus adds one additional field to each category settings page. On this page you will now find a "redirect path" field. Here you can set the drupal path to redirect to when the form is submitted. This enables an administrator to ensure that the end user is presented with information that is pertinent to the category they have submitted the form with. This is useful for presenting "extra info" pages such as targeted sales information, for example.

Contact Plus adds an additional tab, "Settings" to the contact module's default configuration. The settings here are one-time only - they work for all categories. These are as follows.

For "Alter name field" and "Alter sent-from address" there are several options:

1 - Leave the name field as per default
- Leave the name field on the form, make no alteration.

Simplenews Bounced Mail Handler

  • Last changed: 1 year 1 day ago

Extends Simplenews by providing bounce handling via the PHPMailer-BMH library:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bmh/

Quickstart:

  • download the PHPmailer-BMP library from sourceforge and install it in sites/all/libraries/PHPmailer-BMP
  • download and enable the Simplenews BMP module
  • configure your newsletters to come from an email address that can be checked by IMAP or POP (bounces will be returned to that mailbox)
  • provide the login information to this mailbox in the Simplenews BMH admin
  • bounced mail that can be processed automatically will be deleted or moved (as you decide), and other replies will remain in the inbox for you to deal with manually

The module configs allow you to choose many options:

  • manual or automatic removal of bouncing addresses
  • delete bounce emails or move them to a "Processed" subfolder
  • set the scoring limit to remove bouncing addresses
  • define the scores for each category of bounce

The module settings are found at /admin/settings/simplenews/simplenews_bmh

A bounce report can be found at /admin/content/simplenews/bounce_report

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

  • Last changed: 2 years 41 weeks ago

This module makes available the SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend widget for Drupal for FREE.The widget enables users to announce content from the page viewed on Drupal via email, IM, blogs, and social networking sites.

The possibility of spreading content from Drupal across diverse email and social networking channels makes this very different from other similar products. Also, users don't need to remember email addresses since the widget shows the contact lists from the respective email/social networks. That makes it a lot more powerful than other tools which just show a basic form to type email addresses.

The widget gets embedded in the content and lets the user announce a specific page than the entire site without moving to another page. Site owners can customize the widget properties and view usage statistics by signing up for FREE at http://secure.socialtwist.com/signup and getting a SocialTwist ID.

Multi SMTP

  • Last changed: 21 weeks 4 days ago

Allows admins to manage multiple SMTP servers. A server is randomly chosen for each page request, so that all mail going out of the system is spread across the servers. The GET variable use_smtp_id can be set with the server ID to use for the request.

This module sits on top of the SMTP Authentication Support module to add the ability to manage multiple servers. All mail handling is still done by the SMTP module, which makes use of PHPMailer. PHPMailer supports using SSL or TLS encryption as long as the OpenSSL functions are available in your installation of PHP. More information about PHPMailer can be found here: http://phpmailer.worxware.com/.

Mobile Media Blog

  • Last changed: 3 years 8 weeks ago

Mobile Media Blog allows you to post media via e-mail or mobile phone.
It integrates with Mailhandler [1] and saves the submitted text as node and attaches all files sent with it.

This module now integrates with CCK Filefield [4] / Imagefield [5].
That enables you to use Views and/or Imagecache for display.

You may choose to use the inline module [2] to display attached files automatically.
The mailalias module [3] allows your users to provide more than on e-mail address for posting.

Note:If you use imagecache or similar to process images you should install Transliteration [3]

Mailhandler Single Mailbox

  • Last changed: 1 year 15 weeks ago

This module works in conjunction with Mailhandler to allow multiple site users the ability to email a single mailbox to individually publish content on the site.

Instead of having to configure multiple mailhandler mailboxes and multiple feeds - a single mail box and feed processor can be used to allow multiple people to publish content to the site via email.

If you wanted different user accounts to have their own mailbox to send content to a site, it would require configuring multiple mailhandler mailboxes for each account as well as multiple feeds to process each mailbox. The provisioning of mailboxes on a mail server and configuration of so many mailhandler mailboxes and the associated feeds could be automated, but it would be pretty gnarly.

The solution we came up with was to have a single mailbox on the mail server, and have a single mailhandler and single feed processor for the a site. Instead of each user getting their own inbox, we have a single inbox that collects any number of addresses. This can be done by either configuring the mail server to have a single ‘catch all’ address or, if available, a plus addressing scheme (think GMail).

The module provides an user interface that allows users with the appropriate permissions to ‘generate’ a new address for themselves. The addresses generated
