The module has been moved into Version Control / Project* integration as of #1443268: Move project_git_default_branch into this project.
Depends on Project module and the Git versioncontrol backend. Adds a tab to the project page where maintainers that have access to the VCS can select a default branch.
This is a proposed solution for #1074960: Let maintainers set a default branch on git repositories.

- #1291308: Add setDefaultBranch() and getDefaultBranch() method to VersioncontrolGitRepository
