RIAT is a "plastic" interface for describing relationships between node types, and defining what amounts to a hierarchical workflow environment. RIAT's intended purpose is to make creating custom systems such as project management systems or CRM's more easily accomplished without the need for excess custom code to direct the end user through the various processes they might need to accomplish.

The current implementation is still very alpha in nature, however the code that is there should be rather solid. Still many missing features, however the most important of these are import/export, pre-defined relationships via a hook mechanism, and access controls. Most other major features are already present.

This code is NOT intended for production.

The current DEV version on d.o is almost always out of date. Active version control for this is being maintained on github, you can find the newest code here: http://github.com/worxco/riat
