As the title suggests, it is visually supposed to resemble an untidy desk and is based on a grid 970px wide with 12 columns and 10px margins.
It is possible to have two or three columns in the main section and three or four columns in the footer.
This theme is particularly graphic heavy but I've done everything I can to optimise the images to ensure that they aren't too big.
It uses extensive CSS3 so as to be expected it shines brightest on the more modern browsers, although it should look fine in all versions of IE.
Scruffy Desk is easily one of the most accomplished themes on the Drupal repository and it even uses CSS for the yet-to-be-released Firefox 3.6 and Opera 10.5 – how's that for cutting edge! ;)
