1731 Themes match your search

Themes allow you to change the look and feel of your Drupal site. You can use themes contributed by others or create your own to share with the community. Contributed themes are not part of any official release and may not have optimized code/functionality for your purposes. You can also create a sub-theme of an existing theme. A sub-theme inherits a parent theme's resources. Read more about Sub-theme structure and inheritance. You can also view a full index of themes listing only their titles.

Hexagon

  • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

Partial feature list:

  • More preprocess hooks for manipulating template variables. Drupal 6 only provides one. Hexagon adds two more. pre_preprocess invoked before the default preprocess function and re_process which runs after.
  • Granular separation of support files for better management of code. Template variable processors or "preprocess" functions can be grouped into files based on the module that originally implements the template. For example, variable processors for the template "user-profile.tpl.php" and "user-profile-category.tpl.php" can be placed in "user.common-vars.inc" ("user.theme.inc" in versions 1.5 and above for theme functions and variable processors.). It can also be very granular by naming them based on the template name itself, "user-profile-category.vars.inc".
  • Plug-ins for commonly used functionality across multiple themes. This is where snippets specific to theming become obsolete. Once a plug-in is created, all you need to do is enable them in your theme's .info file. Common functionality can be shared and specific components can be overridden for individual themes.

    Abessive

    Abessive

    • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

Welcome to Abessive. Abessive is a word in English relating to grammar and has foundations in the Latin Abesse meaning to be away/absent. I chose this name because this theme is (almost) absent of images. The only image is uses is the core/default images for bullet points.

The theme automatically adjusts to be 1, 2 or 3 columns, depending on if any blocks are visible in those columns, and has CSS rounded corners. By this I mean each "block" (be it header, footer, content or an actual block) has all 4 corners rounded using a CSS trick which works in all browsers.

Abessive is floating width and each "block" has a slight gradient at the top and bottom with the rounded corners.

The theme has been tested on Firefox 2 and 3, IE 7, Opera 9, Chrome and Safari 3 and works perfectly (as far as I know) in all of them.
This theme MOSTLY works in IE6. There is one bugs I am unable to fix (The left column keeps moving randomly for some reason).

The theme also passes XHTML 1.0 Strict on the W3 Validator.

    NEW FOR DRUPAL 6!

I've just committed the 1.4 release of Abessive for Drupal 6. In this release you can now customize the general look and feel of the site. You can control:

    • Body Background Colour
    • Block Contents Background Colour
    • Border Colour
    Plutado

    Plutado

    • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

This theme is part of the plutado series of themes. It has been designed from scratch by David Plutado Fugate (plutado) with the idea that it should be relatively simple for beginners and experts alike to change the images that make up the aesthetics for the content area and sidebars, as well as the backgrounds (the original fireworks .png files are included in a folder along with this design). The themes in this series have been designed to especially accentuate elaborate background designs – and as such, the normal content area is offset a good distance from the top of the page. Even without modifications, these themes work pretty well out of the box.

    List of features:

    Clean as base theme

    Clean

    • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

A base theme with a focus on minimal implementation.

Clean theme provides a solid foundation for creating bespoke themes in the shortest possible time.

    Features

    • Collapsible layout
    • Large default base font size
    • Relative em font sizes
    • Thorough use of CSS inheritance
    • Default layout based around 960px grid
    • 6.x version includes liquid, 960gs, 1kb grid, and light on dark sub themes.
    • 7.x version includes ability to specify framework and conditional stylesheets in the info file.

    Usage

Clean theme should be used as a base theme. You should not edit the files in Clean theme but rather create a new theme to hold your custom code and set base theme = clean in the new theme's info file.

Using this method keeps Clean theme free of modifications, enabling easier updates.

For the same reasons you don't hack core, you shouldn't hack Clean theme.
