Black Mamba

  • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

Black Mamba is a heavy mod of the Waffles and Acquia Marina themes so credit goes to them. I was also motivated by sites like cnet.com and sourceforge.com with their cool black headers, and you will see that in Black Mamba the header area is just as compact.

Features

* CSS-based (tableless)
* Flexible layout
* 1, 2, or 3 column
* 13 collapsible block regions
* Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict
* Cross-browser IE 6/7, FF 2/3, Safari 3/4

I am currently migrating my site to this theme so a live demo will be posted soon, but the theme was ripe for release so I went ahead.

This theme is dedicated to Dave Carradine from Kill Bill. Black Mamba was one of his sidekicks in the movie :) RIP Dave.

Help me out
If you like this theme, and you have a news site or a cool blog, I would really appreciate a post about one of my sites, Review Critical (www.reviewcritical.com), which I have put together and it is kick ass review site for digital products and services, ebooks etc.
This would help me make the site even more popular.

Tendu

Tendu is no longer under active development.

Tendu - A Wireframe BiDi Theme for Developers [Looking for a new tag line, any ideas?]
Sponsored by Linnovate

Tendu is the sum of my 5 years experience in HTML and CSS development for Bi-Directional websites, 2 of them using Drupal.
It was born from the lack of a light, stable, table-less and cross-browser theme that support RTL and BiDi layout "out of the box".
Tendu has a lot of the useful features that can be found in other "Starter themes" like Zen (I copied or re-wrote some of Zen's features, some good implementations there) but is much less complicated and bloated then these themes, though a bit less friendly for the non-professional user.

Help me improve Tendu
I am aware that changing Tendu 2.1 to your needs is not that simple if you are not a CSS professional.
Please, test Tendu and post issues about anything that bugs you in this release,
I can't make it better if I don't know what the users think of it.

Beach Theme Full Page

Beach

  • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

Beach theme has its own story but (maybe) we're too busy to describe a fairy tale while coding and doing graphics for new original Drupal theme.

Briefly, this theme was provided by Thai Drupal Community because it's too lonely to be unique site on the beach (or under deep blue sea), so we decided to contribute this theme for everyone who in love with Drupal (and we hope you'll love us, too).

Let's test and beach up your site!

WARNING : At the moment, this theme will intentionally strip off any CSS files from Drupal core module directory (modules folder) and replace them with a single file (drupal6-core.css) or two (drupal6-core-rtl.css). The reason is to reduce page load time and remove unnecessary duplicated style (with Beach theme only). So you MUST place any contrib modules into another place like sites/all/modules or sites/default/modules or sites/yoursite/modules to prevent the unexpected behaviors that may affect those modules. See node/518450. We'll find another smarter method to fix this problem ASAP.

    HTML5 Base

    • Last changed: 1 year 14 weeks ago

    This theme was originally conceived of as a place for a few dozen Drupal front-end developers to work together to figure out how best to get Drupal 7 to do HTML5. We had lots of debates and conversations, and wrote (re-wrote and re-wrote) it's code. Several months into the process we decided to use HTML5 Base as a testing-ground to try out ideas for Drupal 8 core — a place get ideas running on real-world websites, and to use as a proof-of-concept for convincing others in the Drupal core community. In that way, the project was a great success — HTML5 became an official initiative for Drupal 8. The new leadership had a different plan for how to proceed. And this theme went through an identity crisis, and was basically abandoned.

    The HTML5 Tools module (http://drupal.org/project/html5_tools), meanwhile, is alive and well. The Fences module has joined it as an invaluable tool for getting Drupal to output HTML5 (http://drupal.org/project/fences). Use both.

    Drupify

    Drupify

    • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

    Drupify is a port of a Joomla theme called RokWebify from RocketTheme. Drupify includes many optional content blocks above and below the main content.

    A variety of tutorials are available for customizing the original Rokwebify theme. Many of these tutorials can be applied to Drupify as well.

    Drupify currently supports only a right-hand sidebar. Since Drupal puts the Navigation and User Login blocks in the left sidebar by default, Drupify has been configured to include all blocks from either sidebar into the right sidebar.

    Note from the Maintainer: I'd love to see this theme get updated to Drupal 7, especially if someone could upgrade it from table-based layout to CSS-based layout. I won't have time to do that in the near future, so if anyone is interested in co-maintaining the theme, please contact me.

    Nice Messages

    Fubik

    • Last changed: 39 weeks 6 days ago

    Fubik is a Rubik sub-theme with support for sidebars and a couple of other nice enhancements:

    • Improved integration with Views UI
    • Improved integration with core Overlay module
    • Nice status messages with icons
    • Extra icons for contributed modules in admin pages
    • Nice action (edit/delete/view/revert/etc) icons for creating administrative pages and views
    • Context UI has never looked so good!
    • Small tweaks here and there to improve appearance in many other places

    Why so many releases?

    Since this theme builds on the excellent Rubik theme, all we are doing is making some small fixes and enhancements here and there. Pretty much all changes are CSS-only and there is little to no risk of any of them breaking anything so we decided release a new version every couple or so enhancements to make sure that people can enjoy them as soon as they're available.

    The Jalapeno MDB

    • Last changed: 1 year 1 week ago

    The Jalepeno MDB, a ready to go D7 theme from Dreamleaf Media, part of a series of functional, easy to use themes targeted for Drupal users that want something that 'just works', without the whut!.

    Most notable features:

    Jquery 'Back to top' smooth sliding scroller
    4 collapsible regioned footer
    'Read more' link on node teasers removed from ul.links and created as a flexible variable for easy movement and theming
    Uses CSS3 for certain elements such as box shadow and rounded corners, but doesn't look "too" ugly without
    Styling for all "core" D7 functionality

    *************************************************************
    Update 22/12/2011 - skinr Integration

    I've been testing the usage of the skinr module with this theme and would like feedback if people would like to see it incorporated.

    The obvious question people will have is will this require them to redo a lot of work? The quick and easy answer is no ! If I integrate skinr it will add files to the themes codebase but not alter anything existing, so upgrading will be painless (unless you've hacked the theme itself rather than using a child theme).

    So, if you've got a thought on this possible integration look for the issue and leave your feedback.
