This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.
This module provides fieldgroups as renderable content_type in panels.
Requirements
ctools 7.x-1.x-dev
Unfortunately a patch has to be applyed against the newest dev version of ctools to make this work: http://drupal.org/node/1259430#comment-6058352 (or newer)

Panels
Instructions
Install the module as usal. Go to your panel and add a new content. Select Field Group in "Miscellaneous" and select the field_group you want to pick up.
Known Issues
- Not working with taxonomy
- Switching context is only possible as first ajax call
- Arguments like nids have no effect yet
