What Is Pingler

Pingler is a website that notifies certain services that you have updated your content. This can vary from blog networks to certain bots. It can speed up your new page being indexed and can increase traffic to your site.

Normally you would have to manualy submit your URL's for ping using their website or a web browser plugin. This module speeds up the process by submitting new or updated posts to Pingler.com automatically.

Currently submitted URL's to Pingler are pinged to more than 80 sites. You can find out more about Pingler at http://pingler.com

Installing Pingler:

1. Place the entirety of this directory in sites/all/modules/pingler
2. Navigate to admin/modules and Enable Pingler.
3. Navigate to admin/people/permissions and assign the Administer Pingler permission.
(This permission is required to setup or modify the settings of the Pingler module).

How to configure Pingler:

1. Navigate to admin/config/services/pingler
2. Enter the API key required from your pingler account.
3. Choose a category for your posts to be pinged to.
