2.x branch
This branch is based on and old Guzzle 3 based library. Because the library is no longer maintained and Guzzle 3 abandoned, this branch can't be only be minimally maintained. Additionally, Guzzle 3 is incompatible with PHP 8 which means it will be impossible to support Drupal 10 so this branch will be abandoned at some point in the future.
3.x branch
This branch is based on a new GuzzleHttp based library being maintained by neclimdul. It is currently being actively maintained and developed.
