Integrates the mbe4 mobile payment method for Ubercart.

The Mobile Business Engine 4 (mbe4) platform is a mobile payment solution which provides mobile micropayments via phone bill. It is developed to pay for digital contents, like ring tones, videos, music, ebooks and other digital goods.

It is possible to use mbe4 for mobile post- and pre-paid procedures. Nearly everybody who has a contract with a German mobile network operator is able to pay via mobile phone, until 15 € per purchase.

It is easy for the customer and safe for the merchant. The price for digital contents is between a small ammount of cents and a few euros. For example digital documents for 0,30 €, an access to an online database for 2,50 € or a subscription to an epaper for 4,00 € per week.

These payments must be safe and efficient, which keep the settlements of process costs and collection charges as low as possible. The billing platform of mobile business engine GmbH is connected to the four biggest mobile telephone network operators in Germany.

The mobile telephone network operators will take over the statement and the default risk, so the merchant of the digital goods is 100% secured.

Mbe4 is only usable and offered for the German market.
