Installing Drupal

I tried to install drumal cms and i get the following error. Just for the info , drupal core installs with no problem. Any ideas?

I also use SQLite, I use the database file C:\SQLite\cms.sqlite

I was using a web site many years ago, and stopped needing it. Recently I need to use it, however there is no .sql file. So I am very annoyed, apparently with mySQL I can somehow retrieve it using .frm and .ibd files, which i'm not sure of how to do.

Does any one have any suggestions?

I am using DDEV, mySQL, PHP 8.3.3 and Drupal 7(which I am trying to retrieve)

I haven’t touched my site for quite some time. I now need to redesign it so I moved it to xampp which I used to be able without problem.

Now, however, it seems stuck in maintenance mode. I tried removing getting to maintenance page, clearing cache and so on.

No effect.

Would be grateful for any help.

I use Drupal 7.

As the title says, why is the DB Type forced to be MariaDB?

The only other option is MariaDB via mysqli (Experimental)

Is there a way around this or do I need to install something else to add support for a different type?

I downloaded the latest Drupal CMS 2.0 which is 2.1.1 currently. 

I normally use Percona Server for MySQL.
