I hope someone can help... I've been struggling with this for a few months and getting closer but not close enough.

Using Views2 I have created a view with an exposed filter, The website visitor would enter the information to limit the search.

What I need to do is modify the information entered by the user.

I have created a module and can get access to $view->build_info['query'] but the query text is showing $d where the information should be...

I'm using Drupal 6 for a church website. I'd like to have usernames remain lowercase and without spaces but when stories and blog posts are displayed for example, have their full name be displayed. Gives it a more formal appearance.
For example, my username would be 'ajcrm125' but when my posts are displayed, I'd like it to say "Submitted by Adam Courchesne".

Is there an existing module that provides this function?

When adding Form Components to the wonderful WebForm node, there is a Description field. This description is appearing AFTER the Form Component (textfield etc) when the webform is viewed. How can I move this description ABOVE the Form Components? I looked at the webform-form.tpl.php file in the module, but I didn't see anything available there, unless I overlooked something.

How can I re-order the form components and their descriptions?

Is this part of core (It does not have any special fields)?

I have downloaded the Gmaplocation module and want to know if this content type should be used with this for showing a Google map?

I have a drupal website that I am building. On the front page, I would like to have some graphic and button. How do I go about adding graphic to a drupal website?
