Hi, having worked with quite a few Drupal 6 sites, I have now started using Drupal 7. One site - and these are not professional sites, most are charity based - is for a local Classical Music Sinfonia site and I have created a new content type called 'concert_event' which naturally has a number of fields such as concert_date, concert_soloists, concert_composers, etc and one called concert_conductor. Many of these are text fields and my issue is that having created a new content based upon these I cannot get the latter field, the concert_conductor to display data - or would appear even to save the information in the text fields. Why do i say this re saving data, as when 'editing' the event, the data that had previously been entered isn't displayed during editing - so no matter what I type into the conductor field, by the time I get to 'preview' the event the text entry seems to have gone.
Now I would assume that the data's not been saved (I'm more of a database person that a web designer, hence my liking of Druapl) but a similar thing happens with some of the other text fields in that nothing is displayed when editing, but the text is displayed when saved and then displayed. It really is driving me round the Drupal bend!
