Carolina Bluegrass Festival

A pretty simple site I put together using some basic extra modules, and my own custom drupal theme-framework.

Just thought I'd share :)

thanks

Liberal News Aggregator - leftwingnut.com

I threw this pop-urls inspired, liberal news aggregator site together tonight using the latest dev release of Panels 2, Views, and CCK
for D6. I was quite impressed with Panels despite the maintainer claiming that it is still very unstable.

I used the jQuery clueTip for the in-page feed item teasers integrated directly into a slightly modified Zen Classic theme.

Small Railroad Museum Site

Trilless - October 7, 2008 - 06:29

Having tinkered a bit with other drupal sites, I got asked by my father to help build a site for their local railroad museum.

Its been an interesting experience with a large learning in views and panels. I am stumbling on the front page bottom section to have the three blocks align to the top at the moment. It is done using mini-panels. If someone knows how to make those align properly I'd greatly appreciate it.

http://clintonnorthernrailway.org is the site address.

Using a variation on the Barlow Theme and the following add ons (to name a few):
- Views
- Panels
- Image
- Event
- Event Repeat
- Printer Friendly Pages

The Image gallerys were completely changed using views to the alternate view.

Athens Convention Bureau

The website of the Athens Convention Bureau (ACB). ACB's mission is to make Athens the destination of choice for conventions, conferences, meetings and incentives. The site was developed with drupal 5 with heavy use of cck and views. There is a huge database of hotels, restaurants, convention centers etc.

Portfolio Site Drupal 6

I'm still putting the finishing touches on the site but it's mostly finished.

I've worked with drupal for the last 2 years but this is the first drupal 6 site I've built.

I'm really loving the new views module, took a while to get my head around it but it's so powerful.

The biggest problem I had was with getting the correct breadcrumbs, I think it would be nice to see a separate breadcrumbs module to control them, or perhaps tie it in with pathauto since my breadcrumbs should always reflect my pathauto urls.

Had a little play with the new panels module as well, great work, really good interface and very easy to use.

Views Slideshow is a great little module that I used in the favourites block to display anything I like (I just promote that item of content to the Front Page and views slideshow picks it up)

Lightbox2 is super impressive, big leap forward, highly configurable module. I'd always used thickbox with my ubercart sites but i'm hoping ubercart supports lightbox2 in the future.

I'm a little disappointed Imagecache actions isn't out for drupal 6 yet, I love imagecache and would really like to utilise imagecache actions on the site for watermarking etc.
