Drupal 4.5.x or older

Hello, I have not changed my Drupal site in a number of years. The site is on a shared Godaddy server. It's a simple site and there have no problems until a few days ago. The first problem was my Admin profile would not let me access the administrator functions.

After a number of attempts to enter my user/password the site failed and I now am getting this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function node_get_types() in /home/content/j/t/o/jtoad2/html/includes/theme.inc on line 248

HiI am looking for a drupal module which offers the opportunity to show inline help informative data on pages.
e. g. to explain what sort of specific webform has to be filled out or what the functionalities on a page are

Does some one knows a module which can be used?
Thanks

Don't know how I did it, but I'm locked out of all my pages as a user and as an administrator. How do I fix it?
