This module provides integration with the dot2code QR code management system. This will enable mobile users to just point at a QR code with their phones, and the dot2code site will (optionally) authenticate them, and redirect them to certain pages in your site.
Current features include:

  • Request new QR codes to the dot2code site
  • Attach QR codes to your nodes
  • Remote authentication via dot2code website
  • Attach variables to your QR codes holding extra info
  • etc.

Check here for more info on the dot2code system: http://dot2code.com/help/domains?locale=en

This module is in an early development stage, during which it will be updated often. This should not be used in production sites yet.

Twitpic Filter

This module allows Twitpic images to be displayed directly on a Drupal site, allowing Twitter and Twitpic to be used as a mobile engine for a photo-rich blog.

Twitpic allows images to be posted to Twitter, appearing as URLs in a Twitter feed. Pulling Twitter feeds into Drupal is a great way to get easy mobile micro-blogging, and some mobile Twitter apps include photo upload capability.

The problem is that the feed only shows URLs, not the images. The Twitpic API allows thumbnails to be displayed in a browser, but makes the full images available only as downloadable files. This module uses an Input Filter to intercept Twitpic URLs, download their originals to the Drupal filesystem, and displaying the images instead of the URLs to the end user.

The Mobile Tools module provides Drupal developers with some tools to assist in making a site mobile.
This functionality of the module contains:

  • Detection of the user agent: is the user accessing from a mobile device, or from a desktop device. Support for third party modules is possible. Currently following modules can take over device detection:
  • Automatic redirection to the mobile site
  • Automatic theme switching, based on device type (iphone, android, blackberry, ... )
  • Integration with Panels through a Ctools plugin.
