I'm attempting to theme the Invite module. What I'd like to do is remove the help section from the Invite page. I presume I'd override it with a function that would be like this.
function phptemplate_invite_help($section) {
//* Some code here. **/
}
This is the function I think I should be overriding (from the Invite module) ...
I am new to Drupal and just trying some minor tasks. I want to display a "Site of the Day" in a block on my Drupal 5.x site. I created a custom content type, "sotd" to hold the information. I want be able to just enter the HTML for the link in the body of that content type.
I created a Block called "Site of the Day" and added this code:
I downloaded the Dutch translation, unzipped it and imported the .po file (there is also an installer in this package but it is unclear how one should use it, the readme.txt is empty).
In Localize I have enabled the dutch language and made it default. It tells me that about 95% of the terms have been translated, fine, but where they are: nothing at all is translated. Logout doesnt make a difference.
Hello
I have wrote a small module to automating and manage past events
the admin can choose to delete / unsticky / unpromote / unpublish an event that past (cron hook)
is there another (a better way) doing this ?
anyway (even for academic reasons) I'll be happy to understand what is the correct way to do the query of the past events, this is my code :
One can publish a certain number of stories on the frontpage, I think 10 is the default. The newer ones push the older ones down. I suppose that whenever number 11 is posted, number 1 disappears from the frontpage, but is not deleted and can always be retrieved through an archive of sorts. Now that works perfect, but I would like to have the opportunity to publish a second thread of stories, preferably in a block, and even a third. This enables me to let the story in the main column remain on top for a month whereas I can change the stories in the other thread much faster.
I'm trying to run my cron manually by visiting mysite.com/cron.php
Normally when I do this (with other drupal sites of mine), I can access cron.php and once cron is run I see I blank page (mysite.com/cron.php). I then navigate back to my site by typing the site url into my browser.
What is happening here is I am going to mysite.com/cron.php and then after a few seconds being redirected to the page within my site that I accessed it from (say I typed in 'mysite.com/cron.php' while I had mysite.com/news loaded, I would be kicked back to mysite.com/news)
