Drupal technical architect — 13+ years, Drupal 6 through 12. I design and own enterprise Drupal platforms end to end, and I still write the production PHP myself.

Currently I own the architecture of the Drupal 9 to 12 platform behind Nasdaq.com, serving editorial, investor-relations, listings and market-intelligence experiences for a global investor audience — engineered to hold up through earnings releases, IPOs and market-moving events. Before that I architected Nestle's global Drupal multisite distribution powering 80+ country sites at Publicis Sapient, and delivered enterprise Drupal at Srijan, including a year onsite in the Philippines as the engineering bridge for a leading media group.

• Upgrades and migrations — Migrate API, Rector and Composer; major-version moves planned around zero-downtime releases rather than a big-bang cutover.

• Decoupled and headless — JSON:API, GraphQL and REST layers; market-data and third-party integrations; React front-ends.

• Performance at scale — Cache API, BigPipe, cache tags and lazy builders; Varnish with ESI, Redis, CDN strategy, MySQL tuning, Solr / Search API.

• Security and quality — OWASP hardening, 2FA, WCAG accessibility; PHPUnit, Behat, PHPStan and PHP_CodeSniffer behind code-review gates.

• AI in the editorial lifecycle — LangChain, MCP, RAG and OpenAI / Claude APIs for content metadata, smart tagging and editorial QA, running in production.

• Leading the work — technical discovery and solution design with non-technical stakeholders, scoping and estimation, architecture reviews, and mentoring; teams of 10+.
