About Services I Provide:

Update: I currently provide theming services (turning a design into a Drupal theme) as well as rudimentary site configuration for Drupal websites in addition to interaction design and User Experience Architecture.

I am currently available to provide services to improve the navigation of websites as well as content administration services.

My primary specialty is Site/Information architecture to improve the usability of websites. The best time to employ my services is when a site is under construction or before a site renovation.

Great content on its own is not enough for a website to be successful if the user is not able to find what they are looking for especially if a competitive website has much more easier to find content. I can provide the schematics for re-structuring a site to ease the process by which a user can find the information they are looking for (a very well designed and focussed website could generate numerous sales/registrations without the user having to click on the search button on the landing page.)

Before investment has begun in refactoring code (for increased performance,) creating templates or/and the creation of modules is the when the services of a Usability specialist/User Experience Designer is most beneficial to maximize the Return On Investment from a website.

Usable Websites = More Returning users = more ad impressions or/and purchases. (not always guaranteed)

While my experience in Site Architecture/Navigation to improve Usability is limited, I have co-created the schematics/wireframes for the current implementation of http://mydisneymovies.com (not a Drupal site)

The schematics/wireframes were completed in Late July 2007 and the site was re-launched in Mid November 2007. During the time in between the completion of the wire frames and the re-launch of the website was when the code was re-written and new templates created in accordance to the schematics/wire frames.
