After more than 15 years in the industry, Treehouse Agency founder and CEO Michael Caccavano has deep roots in strategy, development and management for several Fortune 500 companies. During his career, Michael has worked with organizations that include Bristol Myers Squibb, USA Networks, Universal, NBC, Lifetime Networks, CBS, Sony BMG, Mansueto Ventures,SiTV and Verizon Wireless.
Observing a lack of partnership between clients and vendors, he was inspired to leave corporate America and start Treehouse in 2004. This inspiration carries through to today, with client-vendor relationship development a key focus area for all Treehouse projects. Michael is known for his candor and direct communication style, which he regards as critical to authentic, effective client relationships.
A creative thinker and computer enthusiast from his earliest years, Michael holds a B.S. from SUNY Albany in Information Science and Technology, a major that he designed from elements of the existing Information and Computer Science majors. He complemented this with a dual minor in Business and Chinese. Offline, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Laura, his two beautiful children Christopher and Keira, and, of course, his happy-go-lucky yellow lab Charlie.
