Bio:

Ken has nearly a decade of experience in branding, web design, interactive design and digital marketing. He also played a lead role in the evolution of Spry Digital, by introducing the future partners in July, 2009.

Before co-founding Spry Digital, Ken was the Senior Art Director at Habanero Computing Solutions in St. Louis, a full-service integrated marketing agency where he took a lead role in the strategy, branding, design and implementation of projects for large global corporations as well as local startups and nonprofits. Ken was also the force behind the latest re-branding effort at Habanero.

He also served as the Director of Marketing for Cerf Brothers Bag Company, where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing for the bag divisions of several international brands, including Columbia Sportswear, National Geographic, and Remington. To promote the brands and products of these companies, he initiated marketing efforts in a variety of media: Website development, product packaging, catalog production, and traveling show booth design.

Along the way, Ken recognized the need for small businesses and nonprofits to have a professional web presence and a solid infrastructure rather than a "one-size-fits-all" IT approach, which drives him to identify effective open source software tools for the small business market. That approach forms the basis of Spry Digital today.
