- Bio
I am a programmer employed by Brown University in Providence, RI, USA. Since late 2010, most of our programming work has been using Drupal. Our team added on to the existing code to create "BrownSites" which we're still in the process of rolling out to the entire Brown University campus as the central CMS.
I am an 80% time developer at Brown and 20% time reporting to the CISO doing web application testing/fixing. I am an intern with http://pauldotcom.com and am co-hosting the Security BSides Rhode Island conference in June 2013. In April 2011, I created what has since become the Rhode Island chapter of OWASP. We meet mostly monthly to discuss any and all topics in web app security. In June of 2012, I had my first "responsible disclosure" where I was able to report a security bug to an owner of a web site. I have given application security-related presentations at the 2012 and 2013 Boston College Security Camps and at the 2012 Bryant University Day of Security.
While I have created my own modules, nothing yet has seemed to be generic enough to be shareable with the community, though I am looking forward to it. I also maintain a D7 web site for a local baseball league and am looking to add a great deal of fun but secure functionality that will help over 400 people more easily get information for the league.
