We are working on social networking related features. These will appear as both contributions to certain Drupal profile and workspace modules - as well as in the form of the PeopleAggregator suite of modules.
Oh yah - we're also bringing infinite storage and bandwidth for media - in the guise of ourmedia.org. All APIs and schemas will be available to Drupal.
