I am retired techie and manager. I want to develop enough fluency with Drupal to build an efficient web practice specializing in very small businesses (such as folks who sell at farmer's markets, or one-off tourism businesses) and non-profits in an area bounded by Frisco, Leadville, Aspen, Rifle and Steamboat, Colorado. My focus is helping build their business as opposed to focusing on building mine. I believe that 14 to 18 months after launch the business owners will see enough identifiable results to determine how much it makes sense to invest in the web. If they're happy, we have a business. If they're not, I have an expensive hobby. Think of it as an exercise in community-buildng.
