In the land of the Internets, he is known as “noneck.” For the last ten years, he has focused on increasing government transparency while lowering the operational cost of government technology; organized NYC government technology and NYC's bike geeks; explored innovative technologies and the creative space that links us together.

For the last two years, he has served New York State Senate as the Director of Technology Innovation. He has launched NYSenate.gov, our nation's premier state legislative portal; organized the first unconference in a State house, CapitolCamp; co-organized two NYC meetups: Open NY Forum, dedicated to a more open and transparent New York State/City, and the #BikeNYC Tech Meetup, which is dedicated to the intersection of cycling and the nurds who ride them.
