I have been a web developer/designer/programmer/architect/etc in various capacites since the mid-nineties, and with Drupal (nearly) exclusive since a week after Drupal 6 was released four years ago, when Drupal was thrust upon me for a client project. There has been overwhelming demand for Drupal developers since, so I have gone with the calling and opportunities presented. I live in DC and build custom modules, do plenty of contrib module patching, provide training, and even do theming when necessary :-).
