More than ten years' experience in web development and product / project management, with a background in journalism and online publishing going back to the days of text-only dialup services. Former newspaper reporter, editor, and programmer, one of the founders of The Wall Street Journal Online; I am so far as I know the only person with both production code and bylined articles on WSJ.com. Extensive experience in local media and Web 2.0 applications.
I work at the intersection of content, technology and product development, using my experience in each of these areas to bridge the divides between disciplines.I was a journalist in both print and online, I have an extensive background in web technology, and have launched numerous successful products. I specialize in content management and editing systems, focusing on ways to make editors' jobs easier and on repurposing their work into multiple products on different platforms.
