I occasionally maintain some of the book pages on drupal.org when I notice errors, add a page now and then, as well as help in the support forums and on the mailing list whenever I can. I have translated Drupal's core into Afrikaans for version 4.6.x, and 4.7.x.

Bio

I am a web developer by trade, specializing in PHP and MySQL. I also adhere to web standards, have a strong focus on usability and user experience, and is competent in search engine optimization, search engine marketing and copy writing.

Currently full-time employed at iGroup Internet Engineering, one of the leading e-Commerce development houses in South Africa, I am working on becoming financially independent from an employer by end 2012. My current venture is InternetMAX (http://www.internetmax.co.za) which is only part of a bigger picture, but the starting point of the current plan.

Previous employment include another start-up company that had moderate success, and the North-West university, where I have been an employee for over 11 years, in various roles: helpdesk technician, junior helpdesk consultant, IT consultant and lecturer.
