Bio

Born and raised in Germany I soon found out to like science and technology when I was a kid. After studying information technologies for a couple of semesters, co-authoring a book about Linux server administration and launching first static websites during that time, I took the chance and went pro as a LAMP developer.

I made Linux servers my home, developed customer-specific content management solutions in PHP, Perl, MySQL and some bash stuff here and there. I moved on after a while and got a Java developer, creating Swing (JFC) based desktop applications hooked up to a PHP intranet software via XML-RPC.

At the end of 2006 I fund out about Drupal and went back into the web business - based on Drupal - launching first projects in 2007, attending DrupalCamps and getting involved in the German Drupal community.

In 2008 I quit my job and got a full-time Drupal freelancer.

I'm interested in getting my feet wet outside of Germany, working on international projects and finally bringing my English language skills to use. But of course I'm also thankful for and happy about each and every project opportunity here in good old Germany :)
