I have a the event calendar block showing on my front page. The event_include_files() function is getting called after the drupal_get_css() function and so no css is applied to the block.

It seems to me like the css should be loaded on all pages. If people are worried about performance issues, they can use the css cache feature, correct?

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
