I created a issue on becoming maintainer/co-maintainer of the multiple selects module because there was no activity on this module since 2017:
#3113452: Offering to co-maintain Multiple Selects.
I also contacted the maintainer but until now I did not receive any answer.
I'm also familiar with this module since I wrote the initial Drupal 8 port in 2017 which is unchanged since then:
https://git.drupalcode.org/project/multiple_selects/commit/1e6a6e57bc721...

- Project link https://www.drupal.org/project/multiple_selects

I'm still active simply didn't get a chance to review and being active with the releases for this module.
In the upcoming week, I'll work something out and get back to both of you.
Regards,
Webadpro

In the mean time the owners responded here and promised to deal with it, which should put it on hold.
In addition the project has security coverage and requester didn't mention having the vetted role or not.

apadernoJeroenT is a vetted user, but that is just a requirement for when webmasters make a user co-maintainer or maintainer of the project.
Since the project owner replied, there isn't anything webmasters need to do. I am accordingly changing the status.

JeroenTA couple of weeks became 4 months ...
gisleFour months without any further action (while promising to do so) indicates that while the owner is active, this project is is not maintained. However, not to overrule anyone, we need to reboot the process.
Just sent webadpro this PM:

webadpro CreditAttribution: webadpro commentedHey folks,
I'm still active, but I've promoted @JeroenT to become a co-maintainer.
apadernoJeroen has been added as co-mantainer, even if he doesn't have the permission to edit the project nor create releases.
gisleUnassigning. The maintainer answered and added JeroenT as a co-maintainer of the project.
I don't understand why the Status was changed to "Active" (and not "Fixed"), but leave to kiamlaluno to follow up.

JeroenTIt would be great to have the create releases permission. Currently the module is still a dev-release so it would be great if I could create an alpha release.
