What can be done to get a stable release that is covered by Drupal's security policy? Do we need any additional reviews?

mandclu CreditAttribution: mandclu at Northern Commerce commentedI should resolve the coding standards issue, but the current patch there reduces the readability of the code, so I need to do a little more research to figure the best way to resolve it. That said, it seems like a pretty minor issue.
I'm more inclined to say I'd be comfortable creating a stable release once #3174808: Automated test failures is resolved and automated tests are passing again.
