Hi, and a warm welcome to the Drupal community!

I've reviewed your posts and see that you've posted in this issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/2980806

However, please understand that your contribution in this case is not helpful to the community.

The patch you posted is just plagiarizing the patch posted by lisastreeter in comment #3 - except that your version adds bloat to the code by not removing a now redundant assignment. I am surprised that such a trivial programming error is committed by somebody that has been part of the Drupal industry for the last 1.5 years.

Since there is no need to have the 'confirmed' role in order to help out in the Drupal.org issue queues or do most other things here, I am afraid but I do not understand what is critical or urgent about your request.

If you prove yourself helpful to the community, you will get the role soon enough. However, please understand that plagiarizing the work of others, but making it worse, in not considered helpful here.

For more information about the "Confirmed" user role, please see the page Become a 'confirmed' user for information on the role and how it is granted.

Please visit Contributor Tasks for ideas on how to contribute back to the project.

@shivam kaushal, Good day and welcome to the community!

I see you are very new to Drupal, if you have any questions please learn about Issue Etiquette as @gisle suggested in comment #3.

Perhaps a good place to find resources on contribution is the Contribute to development guide on d.o. There are many pages on how to contribute back and the protocol around it.

It's helpful to add an avatar and short bio to your profile.
Thanks.
