I tried Browscap with Drupal 6.10. It was working well.
Now, I installed the new Drupal 6.12 (from scratch) and in the Admin, I have always:
"Browscap data current as of Never fetched. [Refresh now]"
even with "Monitor browsers" selected...
I click "Refresh now" but nothing happen...

QuangVan CreditAttribution: QuangVan commentedNever used Browscap before, but when I go to Reports->Browscap it's not showing any results at all.

greggles@pyctures - that is likely a problem with your sites' ability to make outbound requests to other sites and/or with your DNS.
@QuangVan, @Ole Martin, @etceter9 - did you enable "Monitor browsers" on admin/settings/browscap ?

Sinan Erdem CreditAttribution: Sinan Erdem commentedAhh... Sorry I missed that part. Now it works... I was focused on the settings which is on the Reports section.
Anyway, if 3 people have missed this option already, maybe you can put a notification on a report page of Browscap.

agree with you.
@greggles;
Will look at this later. Now I'm too busy

gregglesI did update the README.txt file to include better instructions on how to setup the module. Can you review those?

Maybe you can separate this item:
as:
No big deal, but it may be more clear this way.
Apart from readme file, I strongly recommend putting the notification on the Administer > Reports > Browscap page also.
Thanks...

gregglesThat's a great point. I think we should do both of these things.
Comment #11
gregglesOk, fixed with the attached patch (I also snuck in some links and comments and better form style in other parts of the module).
