When using only your keyboard to fill in a form with vertical tabs, would you rather have the tab key goto the selectors on the left hand side first so you can easily select a tab, or would you rather have it put the focus on the first input element on the first tab?

Frank Ralf CreditAttribution: Frank Ralf commentedThis is a very important question and there are quite some related Issues:
#323112: Vertical Tabs
#467296: Accessibility improvements for vertical tabs
#521852: Local tasks lack semantic markup to indicate an active task
#541568: Link to expand / collapse fieldsets has poorly accessible link text
#567390: Use vertical tabs with keyboard only
I fear we might lose track with so many similar issues going on in parallel.
