For most Views output styles, it's possible to style alternate output rows using 'views-row-even' and 'views-row-odd' CSS classes, but Views Slideshow doesn't appear to add these to the output it produces.
I know they shouldn't be required given the :nth-child selectors in CSS now, but IE doesn't support those so we're stuck with the coded classes for the moment. Would it be possible to get the module to output them?

Or, if not, is there another way of styling alternate output rows that is cross-browser compatible?
