There are a few strings I want to change to fit my site better, I figured I could edit a translation file, but that seems to be "complicated" with english. Is there a file that I need?

New language
You can create a new language, e.g. "English (local)" with code "en-local" and 'translate' the strings.

I made the new language, however there is no strings appearing after I did the search thingy....

Ok the new language is enabled.
However, as a possible point of intrest it says "0/0 (0%) Translated"

Are the string search results output elsewhere? This is what I've done:

Cannot search active default language
At least that is my assumption. My string search came up gangbusters once I made the "new" language the default. I thought I would share that here for anyone trying this in the future.
BTW, I love the simplicity and elegance of this approach to rewriting the strings. Thanks!
