Last csv commit is "July 28, 2010", seems that this module is pretty abandoned.

My question is, Drupal.org is using this module ? Or they developed their own ? Or if they use this one, where are the improvements ?

Not abandoned. Just busy. Local dev update will be committed soon. D.o is using homebox.
